Peninsula Skin Cancer Centre wins an Honourable Mention at the National Melanoma Awards in Brisbane on Friday 16th of October.
This was the first National Melanoma Awards Gala night held by Melanoma Patients Australia. PSCC was a finalist for the Corporate Division for initiatives undertaken to reduce the impact of melanoma on customers, employees or other stakeholders. The winner was BUPA and the honourable mention was awarded to PSCC as the judges were very impressed with our services to our patients and our commitment to educating the community on skin cancer detection and sun safety. PSCC’s Dr Sally Shaw and Sue Dixon, melanographer and skin cancer educator, attended to accept the award on the clinics behalf.
