Dr Sally Shaw M.B., B. S., Dipl. Obs. Dipl. ACSCM.
Sally is one of the founding members of the Australasian College of Skin Cancer Medicine. Sally has been instrumental in establishing standards for skin cancer practitioners throughout Australia. She holds a Diploma in Skin Cancer Medicine and Surgery and has attended a Master Class of Dermoscopy with ACSCM and a Skin Cancer Surgery workshop. Sally is experienced in all types of skin cancer surgery including flap surgery, grafts and non surgical skin cancer ablation..
Dr Mary Tai Kie MBBS.;MRCGP,FRACGP
Mary obtained her MBBS from Newcastle Upon Tyne, UK in 2004. She attained a Certificate of Primary Skin Cancer Medicine and Surgery in 2011, a Diploma of Skin Cancer Surgery in 2012, a Certificate of Advanced Dermoscopy and Dermal Imaging also in 2012 and obtained her Diploma of Dermoscopy in 2013.
Dr Jeremy Hay MBCHB FRACGP
Jeremy has ten years of experience as a rural GP in New Zealand. He is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of GPs. He has a long-standing interest in skin cancer and has Diplomas in Dermoscopy and Skin Cancer Medicine and Surgery.
Dr Shamini Wiknesh MBBS, FRACGP
Shamini obtained her MBBS and trained in General surgery and cardiology in tertiary hospitals in Sri Lanka. She completed General Practice training in Victoria and is a Fellow of Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP). During first 6 years in Australia she has worked in several leading hospitals and rural Victoria. She has successfully completed the certificate of Dermoscopy, Skin Cancer Medicine and Surgery and Diploma in Skin Cancer Medicine and Surgery.
Dr Mostafa Ziabari MD, FRACGP, AMC Cerf, Aus Derm Dipl, MSC (UQ), Post-grad Dipl Laser (France)
Mostafa is a specialist GP and a fellow and examiner of the RACGP. He is an accredited member of the Skin Cancer College of Australasia. He is also a diplomate of medical laser (France) and dermatology (Australian Institute of Dermatology). He holds a Master of Skin Cancer Medicine from the University of Queensland. He has attended several advanced courses and workshops on dermatoscopy, dermatologic surgery and cosmetic anti-aging injectables.
Dr Nadeeja Jayasinghe MBBS, FRACGP, Dip. Skin Cancer Med/Surg (SCCA)
Nadeeja obtained her MBBS from Manipal University, India in 2008. She is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of GP’s and a member of Skin Cancer College of Australasia. She has successfully completed the Certificate of Dermoscopy and the Certificate of Skin Cancer Medicine & Surgery. She is currently continuing her interest in skin cancer medicine with a Diploma of skin cancer medicine and surgery to be completed in 2016.
Chris has been part of the team of melanographers at Peninsula Skin Cancer Centre since 1998. Chris comes from a health science background, working in allied health for ten years. She holds a Certificate of Primary Skin Cancer Medicine, Certificate of Advanced Dermoscopy & Dermal Imaging. Chris has firsthand experience of the effects of melanoma having a strong family history of the disease. It is this personal experience that has driven her interest and dedicaton to skin cancer detection.
Sue holds a Bachelor of Applied Science and a Graduate Diploma in Information Systems. She worked in Anatomical Pathology for twenty years and became a member of our team at Peninsula Skin Cancer Centre in 2004. She has a Certificate in Advanced Dermoscopy, a Certificate in Primary Skin Cancer Medicine and obtained her Diploma in Dermoscopy in 2015.
Audrey is in her last year of study to be a Div 1 Nurse at Australain Catholic University. Audrey completed the Certificate in Primary Skin Cancer Medicine with The Skin Cancer College of Australia in 2013. Audrey joined Peninsula Skin Cancer Centre in Feb 2012.
Kylie is a Div 2 EEN nurse. Kylie joined Peninsula Skin Cancer Centre in Jan 2012. She has attended many Dermosopy Workshops at Conferences, and has obtained her Cerificate in Dermoscopy.
Trang is a Div 1 Nurse with a background in respiratory medicine. She recently moved from Sydney to Melbourne and has transitioned her career to Skin Cancer. She obtained her Certificate in Dermoscopy in 2015.
Michelle is a DIV 2 EE nurse with more than 10 years experience. She graduated in 2003 and was a practice nurse for 6 years before spending 4 years as an orthopedic nurse. She obtained her Certificate in Dermoscopy in 2015.
Ally is a DIV 2 EE nurse who began her career more then 30 years ago at Williamstown Hospital. Ally has a Certificate in Primary Skin Cancer Medicine with The Skin Cancer College of Australia.
Amy is a Div 1 Nurse. She studied at University of Ballarat and has previously worked in a hospital. Amy has completed her Certificate of Skin Cancer Medicine and Certificate of Dermoscopy. Amy is interested in working with the community and making a difference. She is passionate about theatre nursing.
Deb is a Div 2 EEN Nurse. Deb recently completed her Certificate of Dermoscopy with the Skin Cancer College of Australasia.
Tillesha is a Div 2 EEN Nurse. Tillesha finished her nursing diploma in 2012 and has worked at Cobram district health and Irvin House Aged care. Tillesha recently achieved her Certificate of Dermoscopy and is keen to work in the skin cancer and cosmetic side of the business.
Brodie is a Div 2 EEN Nurse. ‘I completed my Diploma of Nursing in March 2014 at Navitas Healthskills Australia, after working as part of the care team in Aged Care for 2-3 years here on the Mornington Peninsula. I’m passionate about preventative health in all areas and would love to encourage members in the community to take a positive interest in their own health.’ She obtained her Certificate in Dermoscopy in 2015.
After a long history in skin care and counselling Helena joined the the team here at Peninsula Skin Cancer Centre in 2011. Helena holds a Certificate of Primary Skin Cancer Medicine with The Skin Cancer College of Australia. She is currently in the third year of a Degree In Counselling and Psychology.
